Unlocking the potential of energy efficiency and renewable energy

District Energy in Cities Initiative-led Study Tour of Copenhagen

District Energy in Cities, Copenhagen Centre for Energy Efficiency, and State of Green will host a study tour in Copenhagen for partners and government officials from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chile, China, Colombia, India, Malaysia, Morocco, and Serbia. 

The tour will visit the Copenhagen district heating utility and the Søndeborg incineration plant. Participants will be introduced to modern district energy systems, including multi heat and cool source operations, combined heat and power, use of excess heat, the modern technology applied as well as associated management and business models.

State of Green is a public-private partnership founded by the Danish Government, the Confederation of Danish Industry, the Danish Energy Association, the Danish Agriculture & Food Council and the Danish Wind Industry Association.
